Experience

Jun 2026 – present

Founding Head of Forward Deployed Engineering · Composio, San Francisco

Building the Forward Deployed Engineering function: taking AI agents into production inside enterprises, on the tool-calling and integration layer that connects agents to more than a thousand apps and APIs.

Oct 2025 – Jun 2026

Founding team & India Lead · K-Dense, Palo Alto

Built agentic AI for scientific discovery: an AI co-scientist that reviews literature, runs analyses, and drafts papers. Co-authored Scientific Agent Skills, an open-source skills library for research agents.

Mar – Apr 2026

Head of Applied AI · Eragon, San Francisco

Built the core product from 0 to 1, led forward deployments into enterprise customers, and set up the applied AI function.

Aug 2024 – Dec 2025

Founding AI Research Scientist · Biostate AI, Palo Alto

Foundation models of biological systems from omics data (RNA-seq, DNA methylation), and the early agentic analysis systems that became K-Dense, including K-Dense Analyst and a first-author paper on multi-agent transcriptomic aging clocks (with collaborators including David Sinclair).

Jun – Sep 2024

Research Consultant · NVIDIA, Remote

Advised on the design of large-scale experiments measuring the effectiveness of generative-AI engineering tools and human–AI alignment.

Summer 2023

Research Scientist Intern · Meta Reality Labs Research, Redmond, WA

Generative and spatial audio rendering for AR/VR, validated with psychophysical studies; demoed two product-ready tools to Reality Labs Research leadership.

2020 – 2025

Graduate Researcher (with Josh McDermott) · MIT, Laboratory for Computational Audition, Cambridge, MA

Auditory intuitive physics: differentiable, physics-based synthesis of impact, scraping and rolling sounds, and psychophysics on what listeners infer from them. Major contributor to physics-based audio in the ThreeDWorld simulator (MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab), whose paper cites my DAFx 2021 synthesis model as its first reference.

2018 – 2020

Graduate Researcher (with Nicholas Makris) · MIT, Laboratory for Undersea Remote Sensing, Cambridge, MA

Ocean acoustic waveguide remote sensing: imaging continental-shelf environments and detecting fish shoals from long-range sonar data.

2016 – 2018

Research Assistant (with Sripriya Ramamoorthy) · IIT Bombay, Acoustics & Hearing Lab, Mumbai

Acoustic analysis, design and inverse characterization of periodic rigid foams: CFD, simulation and impedance-tube experiments.

Summer 2016

Research Intern (MITACS Fellow) · Simon Fraser University, Vancouver

Machine-learning-based automatic transcription of electronic music, with Arne Eigenfeldt.

Summer 2015

Research Intern (Charpak Fellow) · CNRS, Laboratoire de Mécanique et d'Acoustique, Marseille

SoniMove: gesture-controlled sound synthesis with an instrumented drumstick and motion capture.

Education

2018 – 2025

PhD, Mechanical Engineering · Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Thesis: Synthesis and perception of sounds from physical interactions reveals auditory intuitive physics. Advisor: Josh H. McDermott.

2013 – 2018

B.Tech + M.Tech (dual degree), Mechanical Engineering · Indian Institute of Technology Bombay

Specialization in Computer Aided Design and Automation, focus on acoustics. Master's thesis: acoustic analysis and design of periodic rigid foams.
